New for 2026/27 entry is our Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Excellence Scholarship for IFP and IFY students.

For September 2025 and January 2026 entry students, the Ambassador Scholarship and Country Specific Scholarships are still available.

Once students are preparing to join their first year of undergraduate study, they can apply for the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship, if eligible.

Country Specific Scholarship 

For IFP/IFY September 2025 entry and IFP/IFY January 2026 entry students from a large number of specific countries.

This Scholarship closes in November 2025.

 

If you are paying international tuition fees and applying from one of the following countries, you are eligible for a discount of £2,000 on your International Foundation Pathways foundation year tuition fees.

  • Middle Eastern countries: Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Türkiye, United Arab Emirates, Yemen
  • North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia

How will I receive the Country Scholarship

The Scholarship is automatically applied as a discount to the international tuition fees of eligible students for the foundation year only.

To receive the Scholarship discount, you must accept your International Foundation Pathways offer and enrol on your chosen International Foundation Pathways course.

If you are a sponsored student and a separate discount on tuition fees has been agreed between the sponsor and the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ, then only one discount or Scholarship will apply, and this will be whichever discount is to the highest value.

International Foundation Pathways - Ambassador Scholarship

For IFP September 2025 and IFP/IFY January 2026 students. This Scholarship closes in November 2025.

The International Foundation Pathways Ambassador Scholarship is open to all non-sponsored international fee-paying students and provides a £3,000 discount on tuition fees for your international foundation year.

If you are excited about studying at the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ in the UK and would like to share your experience with a broader audience through social media and create content like videos and photos for the International Foundation Pathways, then you should apply for the Ambassador Scholarship.

The number of scholarships available is limited, so you will need to submit a scholarship application. This application will involve submitting a 3,000-character essay explaining your suitability as an International Foundation Pathways Ambassador.

Being an International Foundation Pathways Ambassador consists of upholding our values through high academic engagement. It may include participating in promotional activities to share the experience of being on an international foundation pathway with prospective students.

How to apply for the Ambassador Scholarship

  • To apply for the International Foundation Pathways Ambassador Scholarship, you must have already applied for a place on an international foundation and accepted our offer. Please read our information on How to apply for an IFP or an IFY.
  • If you have already applied and have an offer for a place on an international foundation,  you can apply for the Ambassador Scholarship through the . 
  • Applicants should apply in time to arrange a visa, though we continue to accept International Foundation Pathways Ambassador applications up until enrolment.
The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ International Foundation Pathways Ambassador Scholarship scheme does not award scholarships in order of application and does not start the selection process until after the closing date.
  

Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Excellence Scholarship (IFP/IFY)

For IFP/IFY 2026/27 entry students

We have a number of scholarships worth £4,000 available to our International Foundation Pathways students.

Before applying for the Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Excellence Scholarship IFP/IFY, please read our Guidance on Completing the Scholarship Application Form for helpful information about the application process.

Full terms and conditions are published with the application form, and in submitting a scholarship application, the candidate is deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

Key information

  • To apply for funding, you must have received an IFP/IFY offer of admission for entry in the academic year 2026/27. The scholarship application form will be made available to eligible students via the  and will be accessible up until the closing date.
  • The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction of £4,000 for the IFP/IFY year of study.
  • The University must classify you as an international student for fee purposes.
  • Scholarships are awarded primarily based on previous academic accomplishment.

Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship - for UG students

The Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ has a new and exciting undergraduate scholarship scheme which aims to create a community of future global sustainability leaders.
